I like to reward myself for all the things I’ve done correctly, and while we’re only two weeks into 2015, why the hell not celebrate all that’s been accomplished?!? Because come a month from now, I probably won’t be able to say half of these.
// I have had zero bacon since ringing in 2015.
// All credit card debt has been paid off. An actual goal; check that out!
// Downstairs basement closet has been de-cluttered and minimized. As in, all the shit in that closet that we didn’t use in 2014 is now at the garbage plant.
// 2 out of 3 books for January have been read. (In case you care about these things, the first one was The Invisible Front by Yochi Dreazen — a powerful read about PTSD in the military — and The Girlfriend’s Guide to Pregnancy by Vicki Iovine — which counts because it was almost 300 pages with small font. Hemingway is up next).
// More days than not, I’ve managed to
drink force a gallon of fluids into my body.
// I finally bought new succulents, since I managed to kill the ones I had. Who knew the damn things could actually burn with too much sunlight. Gardener, I am not.
// Figured out this Spotify nonsense. Although I still love my Pandora.
// Pretty much know all the words to Taylor Swifts 1989 CD.
I don’t know about you guys, but that’s a lot to accomplish in two weeks. Now if only I could keep this up for the rest of the year….
