I’m writing this so hopefully I can look back (as soon as I’m well rested and retired and what not) and laugh. I didn’t think it was possible to be this tired or this busy all at once. Life, man, life. Also using it confession style, because yes, this is a confession of my every day life. Linking up with Nadine and Kathy.
3:00-4:00 am : Somewhere in this time range (sometimes earlier), baby wakes up for his early feeding. A diaper change, a bottle and some twenty minutes later, baby boo is back asleep in his crib.
4:45am – Wake up, shower, get ready. Sometimes baby wakes up, so I throw him in his high chair with some Puffs and put his chair in the bathroom door way so he can watch me get ready.
5:45-6:15am – Get bottles ready and baby dressed for daycare. Make breakfast and lunch.
6:20-6:40am – Carpool with B to daycare and drop him off at work.
7:00am-3:30pm (give or take): WORK
3:30-4:15pm : Pick up husband from work and baby from daycare.
4:16-6:00pm : Drive home, feed baby, get in “all” the quality time I’ll get with my baby for the day.
6:00-6:15pm : Bath time.
6:15-7:30pm: Baby gets his after bath snack bottle, where he’ll normally fall asleep during. B is usually making dinner while I am feeding him. After he is fully asleep, we’ll put him in his Rock N’ Play that he is definitely too big for, eat and enjoy a TV show together. Sometimes he doesn’t fall asleep, and then he roams around playing until bed time. Just depends on his mood I guess — pass the wine.
7:30-8:00pm: Somewhere in this time range, hubs will feed and put baby to bed.
8:00-9:00pm : Once B takes baby to head back to bed, I’ll lace up my tennis shoes and head down to the treadmill for my workout.
9:00-10:00pm : Finish whatever work I didn’t get done during the day, blog, do my nails – spend my one hour with just my husband before passing out. Not to mention cleaning bottles and picking up toys – Most nights, I rarely make 10pm.
10:00pm- 3 or 4:00am : Try to get some sleep to wake up and do it all over again.
