I meant to get this up yesterday, but I honestly went to bed at 8:45, and it was glorious. So here we go…
reading: I have grown to love JP Delaney. This book, so far, is so awesome. I have no idea who to believe or what is really going on or what happened, and I love it!
watching: When we aren’t waiting for Sunday and Game of Thrones, we’re watching Cutthroat Kitchen. I love this damn show. Alton Brown is the best, and the sabotages are creative and fun.
lusting: after these tennis shoes! My coworker got them, and she said they’re really comfortable. They’re a super fun color and are super light. I’m thinking about pulling the trigger on these as an early Mother’s Day gift to myself for an upcoming trip.
listening: to the Bear Brook podcast. This podcast blew my mind. In true Laura fashion, it’s true crime, and I absolutely couldn’t believe the end. The podcast goes back and forth between a few different stories, but in the end, you understand why. If true crime is your jam, I definitely recommend this.
learning: when I saw this quote, it hit me right in the feels. I have been trying to jam-pack my life with more experiences over things, and I have been pretty proud of it. It makes my weekends and weeks full, but it also makes my heart full.
I’m so happy for a weekend that includes a taco and margarita holiday and sombreros. Hope y’all have a great weekend and happy Cinco de Mayo.
