I didn’t want to overload with pictures on the last post, so I broke up some of the things that happened to make it easier on myself. Getting pictures and everything together is a rough business, and being lazy is in my top favorite things to do, so ..
// On Saturday, I was informed that I was selected from the lottery to run the Peachtree Road Race in Atlanta on July 4th! I have never run it before, and both Brett and I got in – I’m super pumped and hoping to finish the race in less than an hour.
// On Monday, my sister and I met up with B to eat at Pizitz. Juney went old school at the Standard, while B and I split a sandwich from Busy Corner Cheese Provisions. It was so good – and I’ll definitely be back to hit up more of those sandwiches.
// That day was pretty dreary, so when everyone was home, we all just kind of hung around inside. We made homemade chocolate chip cookies, and Sheff got to open a special pair of sunglasses from his mee-maw. He loved them!
// On Tuesday, Juney and I ate at Soho Social for lunch. I got their wings (flipping amazing), Juney got their wedge salad, and of course we got the gorgonzola cheese dip with the sweet potato fries.
// We also had to go to Savage’s bakery after lunch to get smiley face cookies, because what else do you do when you’re done with lunch?
// When we got home, Juney taught Sheffield how to throw a Frisbee, we ate queso and chips for dinner and watched “Cedar Rapids.“
It was such a fun filled couple of days – getting to hang out and talk, and of course eat. I’m super excited for way more adventures to come our way.
