it’s not a secret to anyone who may read this that i am not a cook. every now and then i can make cupcakes, or in the aforementioned blog post, a peach cobbler, but when it comes to actual cooking, it’s just not for me.
but B can cook! and he likes to do it, which makes it a perfect situation for me. my most favorite thing that he makes is his buffalo chicken pizza. follow along, and perhaps you can make the greatest pizza on earth.

start by getting the most awesome dough on earth, from publix. i don’t know what you would do if there were no publix. that may be the hardest thing for me to get used to in austin. |

put the chicken breasts in a skillet on the stove. you only need one; we usually cook everything at once, so we’ll be set for the week. |

get messy with it. just throw some flour on the table and hammer out the dough. |

roll between your hands to flatten it out (b did throw it above his head, however the camera was not cool enough to catch it). |

all flattened out. |

frank’s hot sauce is our favorite. you can of course use whatever you want. we like to not have taste buds at the end of a meal, so the hotter the better. |

pour hot sauce over cooked chicken. |

chop up some onion and bell pepper. |

cut up the chicken, throw back in the skillet, and add more hot sauce. |

throw some more hot sauce and ranch onto the dough… |
![]() |
smooth it out over the dough. |

add the chicken….. |

and of course, cover with mozzarella cheese. |

throw in the oven at 350 degrees for about 20 mins, and voila! |
it is as good as it looks. enjoy with a cold beer.
look back during football season for a variation on this; buffalo chicken dip!!
Enjoy!
