First things first, Happy Birthday Dad!! You’re always there when we need you. Hope you have a great day – we love you so much!
Our weekend was relatively uneventful – thank goodness. We didn’t have anything actually planned – which was probably the first time since the middle of September. So I’m just going to recap some of my favorite moments from the past week
// Sheffield had his first play at school – a little Thanksgiving thing where he got to be an Indian. It was seriously the cutest, sweetest thing I’ve ever seen. We then went to get Mexican for dinner so Sheff could have some cheese dip – since we were so proud of him.
// B and I finally got to go to Woolworth down in Five Points. It is such a fun atmosphere that has duck bowling and food, and now even brunch. I can’t wait to actually go back here on a date night and have even more fun.
// Saturday morning, we went shopping with Aunt Juney! We looked at all the Christmas stuff (bought some of it), and then Sheff and I went to Publix to get a sub for lunch. Italian Publix subs are where it’s at.
// I went to Five for brunch with a coworker. We had pitchers of mimosas and I got these caramel apple beignet things. They were so good, and I’m so thankful for fun coworkers to get to hang out with on the weekend.
// Getting to have lunch with Nadine!! It had been far too long! We headed over to the Pizitz, and went to Mo:Mo’s to eat. We got the potato tornadoes with ranch – and so so good.
// My sister’s mac n cheese that she brought over for the AU/UGA game. It was seriously the best mac n cheese I have ever eaten – she will be giving me the recipe so I can make it over and over. We also got cut and bake Turkey cookies, but they didn’t quite bake like they were supposed to. So we put some chocolate frosting on them and some sprinkles and made them sandwich cookies. They ended up tasting like EL Fudge cookies, so WIN!
We’ve got another uneventful weekend coming up (hallelujah!), so with the exception of maybe heading to lunch or something, we’re going to just chill, maybe get Christmas decorations up and make a blanket fort. Hope y’all have a great week!
