Yesterday, I read how someone was pulling their entire blog down, because it had pictures of their kid on it and stories of his life.
I started this blog ages ago (seriously, look at my archives) as a way to come here to express myself and talk about my life and family. And my family has changed now — it’s added my little dude. I don’t think I could ever bring myself to pull down or delete my entire blog. This is my life. And sometimes my family (hi DAD) rely on this to find out what is going on with us and to see the pictures that I don’t send them. My blog isn’t big – I’ve never been trolled or have had a nasty comment on here. I’ve made some amazing friends (hi Nadine!) that have come into my life, and not only are blog friends, but are in real life best friends. I also have an ahole bro group, and they motivate the shit out of me – they are never discouraging and are just some bad ass chicas.
With all of that being said, I guess my point is, that I know the internet can be a dark and scary place – giving easy access to people who want to do harm, but with a lot of people putting their blogs on the back burner, I just don’t see myself as one of them. I love coming to this space and sharing my life – I’ve been doing it so long now that it’s just a part of what I am.
So with that, I’m going to spend this weekend with that little booger up there, eating dimsum and shopping at Target. I hope you all have an awesome weekend!
