Welp- I meant to get this out and posted this morning, but it has been a day. So I’m a little late, but isn’t there a saying about better late than never? Or maybe it should have just been never. Either way, here we go.
I posted about this book on my Instagram, which I never do, but reading this book came with a revelation. When I started this thing, I was three weeks deep into Weight Watchers – hungry, agitated and worrying about how I would be able to spend my points. I’m going to write a whole post on this book, because I do have a lot to say, but this helped with my wish of learning about and applying more body positivity into my life.
Wednesday night, B and I made the trek over to Tuscaloosa to watch our Auburn Tigers get their first loss of the season. It sucked ass, but it was fun trying a yellow hammer for the first time. They were delicious and so strong. On a side note, I understand that Auburn/Alabama is a huge rivalry, but there is no need to shout “fuck you Auburn” while we’re playing you in your arena. I highly doubt that we will be back – especially if we ever want to take Sheffield with us. There’s much nicer schools to visit if we want to go to an away game.
Cara and I went to try out Winner Winner in the Pizitz for lunch this week. We got a grilled sandwich and a fried one and split it so we could both try it. I’ve had better chicken sandwiches, BUT their fries were some of the best I’ve had!!
I know this quote was probably intended for romantic life purposes, but I’m applying it to my professional life, and well, damn straight.
My sister, Cara and I are headed to see Miranda Lambert tomorrow, and watch the Pack play in the NFC championship on Sunday! Have a great weekend!
