Only a little bit behind on this, right? Oy, life. Plus everything in between Halloween and now — plus having to put all the pictures together. No bueno.
The Friday before Halloween, boo had his Fall Harvest Festival at daycare which meant costumes and treats! It was the first time I got to put him in his T-rex costume, and it did not disappoint. He was the cutest little dinosaur you ever did see.
Then on actual Halloween, Morgan was sweet enough to come and let us crash their Halloween. See, our neighborhood isn’t very trick-or-treating conducive since we have no sidewalks or street lights, and watching my kid get run over was not on the agenda for the evening, so we were so grateful for the invite! We got to Morgan’s, had some wine, waited on everyone to get there, and off we went! Sheffield got the hang of it after a little bit with the walking up the driveways, but it took him a bit to learn to hold out his little pumpkin to collect his candy. We only hit about ten houses, but that’s pretty good for a one year old whose bedtime was rapidly approaching.
It made me so happy that I got to share Sheffield’s first trick or treat with a friend – especially since her cutie pie got to share in the firsts as well. (Also, the two bottom left pictures are ones that she took and sent me – gotta give credit!) And again, another shout out to blog land for introducing the two of us, because without it, we never would have gotten to meet and share these life-changing events together. Holla back blog land – some times you’re the coolest.
