// I quit — I’m done worrying about my weight. I have zero energy to worry about it anymore. I’m embracing my post-baby body — there was a human inside me, and I will probably never look the way I did before I had him. You know what – I got the better end of the deal when I got my kid.
// I quit — worrying about what I’m eating. It sort of goes with the above, but dammit, if I want to eat pizza and drink beer one night, then I’m going to do it. B and I eat healthy most days during the week anyhow, so one night of crap eating shouldn’t hurt too much.
// I quit — worrying if I’m doing enough as a mom. You know what? I love my kid to the moon and back — he gets fed, and he’s always got a clean dry butt. He gets snuggles and kisses, and I think we’re doing a pretty ok job.
// I quit — worrying if my house is 100% clean all the time. You know what? We just don’t have the time anymore — and on the weekends when we used to do it? Yeah, would rather spend that time as a family doing fun things. So you’re safe, layer of dust on our bookshelf — you get to live another day.
// I quit — worrying if you can tell I’m wearing maternity jeans. You can’t — so there.
