This weekend was a good one. A really good one. They’re usually bittersweet, because they always go so fast, and I love getting to spend these two days with my little guy, and then in a blink of an eye, they are over.
Saturday started with a trip to Pepper Place where we finally got to try out Hero Doughnuts, and I have to say, they are definitely our new favorite here. We got the milk jam doughnut, and let’s just say it had dulce de leche INSIDE of it. So good.
Then when we got the mail, some little boy had a special surprise in there from Atlanta! I mean check out this cutie kid:
Thanks Rick and Janice for our fun surprise!!
Sunday mornings are usually my favorite part of the weekend – we all eat breakfast together and listen to music and just kind of hang out at the table. Oh, and apparently, we also really like playing with colanders — because, why don’t you need a colander on your head?
We spent most of Sunday running around, shopping and just getting the little guy out of the house. And before we left, I got these pictures of my cute little guys.
AND B and I ended our weekend with some yoga – that’s right, yoga. Forty minutes of some yoga, and it was great!! We plan on doing it at least twice a week together, so we can both try to lose these last of the baby pounds. I never thought he’d be into it, but I’m really glad that we did it.
So that was our weekend – always too short and always sweet. I know it sounds lame, but I really do love cherishing this time with us three – chasing that little baby booty around and making sweet memories.
