Muahah — you thought you were done with Mardi Gras 2015 – but alas, there are pictures that didn’t quite fit into the three parter amazingness I’ve already subjected you to. Also, with many apologies, I left out our lunch on Valentine’s Day (aka Endymion day) at R&O’s. See below for the awesome. If I’m being honest, it wasn’t my favorite po’boy in New Orleans, but those fries with the gravy and cheese..yeah, those were pretty good.
So here are a few things that went down that didn’t quite fit into the categories of the three part division.
First up is the delicious King Cake from Sucre. Sucre is a sweets & bakery shop and they have the most delicious stuff – especially their macaroons. So. Good. Lindsey’s boy got the baby.
Next you will find the Muses shoe that B had to run half a mile to get. From the very get-go, the girl on the Muses float had her eye on B, pointed at him, and he followed. And then he came back with this!! One of the most prized throws of all of Mardi Gras!
Then we took a walk down to Lake Ponchartrain so Baby J could check it out. Yeah, that triangle dealy was supposed to be a heart, but since I suck at life, it’s a triangle instead.
And then we had to stop in Checkpoint Charlie’s so B could get his drink on. These things are twenty times stronger than what you’ll get at a normal bar, and all you really need is one. B had three — guess who had a REALLY good night?
And then last, but not least, I will leave you all with a statement that has never been truer — I hope you all have a great weekend, and I swear, I’m done with Mardi Gras.
