There is something so wonderful about a Kit Kat bar. The only candy that can come close in my opinion is peanut M&Ms. Anyway, you could practically make these with any candy bar/ chocolate-type things. After I made these I thought how delicious they would be with peanut butter cups. So go crazy – put whatever delicious candy in that you desire.
WHAT YOU NEED
1 cup butter, room temp
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking powder
2 cups flour
1/2 cup Rice Krispies
1 1/2 cup chocolate chips
12 mini Kit-Kats chopped into three sections. ( Can also be done with the regular sized kit-kats, but I only had the small ones leftover from Easter).
WHAT YOU DO
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cream butter and sugars – add in eggs and vanilla. Mix well.
Add baking powder and flour and mix.
Add Rice Krispies and chocolate chips and combine.
Add Kit Kat pieces to the dough and stir.
Place mixture into a 9 x 13 pan and spread evenly.
Bake for 30-40 minutes.
Allow to cool completely before cutting.
These tasted amazing just warmed up slightly and then with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top!
