(recipe from Plain Chicken)
Hooray for the end of college football!! And pro football! Well, for me anyway. I know, I know – Auburn is in a bowl game, blah blah, but for some reason I’m just not that pumped about it. The Packers fired their head coach, and who knows what in the world is going to happen – but I do know that they aren’t going to the playoffs, so my football season is over!
But for those who will be watching all the bowl games (and I might sneak peek a few), I got the most delicious and easy snack for you.
WHAT YOU NEED
|| 1 box Ritz cheese sandwich crackers
|| 1/4 cup oil
|| 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
|| 1/4 tsp garlic powder
WHAT YOU DO
|| Preheat oven to 250.
|| Whisk together oil, ranch packet and garlic powder.
|| Put crackers into bowl and pour oil mixture over the crackers. Toss to make sure the crackers are coated.
|| Arrange crackers on cookie sheet.
|| Bake for 15-20 mins
These are seriously so easy, but they are so delicious. We found out that they are twenty times better when you get them right out of the oven, BUT they were also good the next day after we stored them. The original recipe called for two boxes of crackers and 1/3 cup oil – but I halved it, because it was just me and B eating them. But if you’re throwing a big football shindig, you’d probably want to double it! We also paired it with our favorite bourbon, because, football.
