Are you seriously eight months old? It’s been so crazy to see you grow from a tiny five pound newborn, to my seventeen pound eight month old. Also, it took me forever to even get that picture up there, and that is not even the best picture of you!! Here’s a few outtakes from me trying to get your 8 month photo: crazy baby.
It’s been a fun month! You are into everything!! You love to crawl everywhere, and you love to put everything in your mouth. You’ll pull up on anything that is stable enough for you to get your feet under you. You are so curious – you have to get into everything — even your day care teachers say you are a handful! We have to keep our eyes on you at all times. You’ve finally learned how to fall without just slamming to the ground, so you can roam around the room and just have fun!
You’ve started to get a little bit of mommy syndrome – when you feel bad, all you want is your mommy. You still haven’t gotten the complete separation anxiety, because you’re still ok with us leaving you at daycare.
You’ve gotten another double ear infection, and we made it through a stomach bug. You’re not eating as much as you used to, so that us has worried, because you’re already pretty tiny – we just feed you when we’re hungry, and hope that you’re putting on enough weight.
We are pretty sure that at any minute, you are going to pull yourself up and walk across the room – although we’re hoping that you don’t! That’ll mean that you’re growing up way too fast, and we are certainly not ready for that!
It’s been fun so far little man — we love you way too much, and we love watching you learn something new every day. You are the sweetest little pea we could have asked for.
