A few weekends ago, we took Sheffield down to Montgomery for his christening. B took Sheffield down early so he could spend some time with his parents while I waited on my mom’s flight to get here.
Can I just say that not having a baby and a husband in the house is really weird, and I really don’t like it?
Anyway, I was really nervous about him being in a church service for that long. They had reserved the front bench for us, so all I was thinking about was how I could make a graceful exit in case he started crying or had a blowout diaper. Neither of those things happened, but you can never be too careful.
His momma did forget his socks, though, soooo no mom points there, but he did look adorable! FYI, the christening gown is the same one B wore for his.
After the service, we went and had brunch with the family. It was a great service, and I’m so glad we got to share it with family.
