I’m not sure how this year can top last year — I’ve seen a lot of posts that claimed last year was their worst year ever, and they didn’t get everything they wanted to accomplished, but doesn’t that sort of happen every year?
With today being my birthday, I felt it appropriate to list everything that I plan on doing this year — I am going to knock some things off my list dammit, even if it kills me — and it might.
— I am running a half marathon. I have started a 20 week training plan, and have registered for one on May 21st in Myrtle Beach. It’s happening folks.
— We are selling our house, and finally going to find one that has enough room to house us and all of our stuff. (We did get rid of four BAGS of clothes from our closet. I finally bid farewell to the clothes that I know I will never fit into again).
— Nadine and I are doing the Whole 30 for the month of Jan into Feb. I am so glad that I have her to do this with, because without accountability, I’d be drinking wine by the second day.
— Read at least two books a month.
— Blog at least twice a week.
— Eat at one new place once a month (this will most likely start AFTER the Whole 30, because I don’t want to go to a new restaurant and be like SALAD please!)
— Take a new exercise class. I’ve been eyeing Orange Theory for a while, so I may check that out.
— Take that sushi class — once I find an awesome and reliable babysitter, which I guess I should add to the list, too.
How’s that for a good start? I’m sure I’ll be adding back to this list, but these are pretty doable– well all except the half marathon, which I’m pretty sure will kill me.
