Even though one of my favorite things to do is talk about where I eat and what I eat, I did do a few other fun things while I was in Atlanta for my girl’s weekend.
After brunch, Rachel took me to High Art Museum to see the Andy Warhol exhibit. I loved it so much, and that museum is huge. You could seriously stay in there for hours if you let yourself. While walking there, I got to see the Midtown sign, and I of course, had to take a picture of it.
After the museum, we went to Octane to get some fuel for the rest of the evening – even though it didn’t really help, because we ended up taking naps anyway.
And unfortunately that’s where the pictures ended, because I didn’t want to seem like that crazy blogger lady taking pictures of everything, but we ended up dancing until 3am in the morning. Yes, 3 AM! I was exhausted, but I had so much fun. Of course, dancing and drinking $4 beers at a cash only bar doesn’t happen that often, so I let myself just have fun. Nothing crazy though – I mean, I’m still really old. Seriously – just some dancing and having fun.
It was honestly a great weekend, and one that I really needed. Of course, I missed my guys, but every now and then, I just need to let loose and remind myself that I’m not just a mom – and not even let myself feel guilty about it. I can’t wait for the next one!
