I realized that no where was I keeping track of the things I wanted to remember about this little guy at the different stages in his life. I would tell myself, oh, I should write this down, and then I never did. And that’s really sad. But at least I know for number 2 right? (haha, this isn’t happening any time soon, folks but lesson learned.)
Things I don’t want to forget about Sheffield:
// How he calls dogs, da-doos.
// How determined he is to feed himself with his fork.
// How much he loves brushing his own teeth.
// How he now knows how to give kisses — all you have to do is point and pucker, and he’s all over it.
// The way he sits in B’s lap when he starts to get tired at night.
// How he will sit in his car seat and just start giggling to himself.
// How badly he wants to put his own shoes on.
// How he loves to dance to the intro to Curious George and the Charter commercial.
// How much he loves bananas and grilled cheeses and Cheerios.
// How the daycare ladies call him Sheff-Sheff.
// His little climbing butt climbing everywhere.
// How Stella can just make him laugh and laugh.
// How he has finally grown an attachment to Mr. Bunny – just like his daddy did to his Mr. Bunny when he was little.
