You ever have one of those weeks where you just don’t feel good enough, pretty enough, thin enough? That was it for me this week – I’ve been having a hard time struggling with my appearance lately. I’ve always struggled with my weight and body image, but for some reason, this week hasn’t been good for me. Some weeks are clearly worse than others for me, so I tried to round up some of the things that went on this week that don’t include me having a pity party of 1:
Sheffield has been getting some computer time at daycare – so it’s fun to see him use his skills at home.
I got to have a dinner/drink date with Robyn. We went to Avondale Common House Wednesday night, where they have half price wine bottles. We split the hummus, and I got the chicken salad wrap and fries. It was such a nice good break in the middle of the week.
Listen to Bank Account by 2 1 Savage – If you don’t like hip hop, you probably won’t like it, but it’s been keeping me bumping all week.
I have been debating with myself all week on whether or not to buy those Capricorn stud earrings from localeclectic.com. They are so cute, but I can’t seem to pull the trigger on them.
I got to try the grilled cheese and tomato soup at Busy Corner Cheese & Provisions in the Pizitz this week. It was so good and perfect for the rainy, freezing cold weather we’ve had this week.
This quote about the greatest prison we live in has been on my heart all week. I know that I shouldn’t care at all what other people think about me, but it’s so hard to shake.
My sweet Stell-dog is the perfect addition to a blanket on a cold night. That little girl loves her snuggles and works like a breathing space heater. She’s such a sweet girl.
