It was such a beautiful weekend. And what made it even more beautiful is that we had zero plans. We have usually been jam-packing our weeks and weekends with stuff to do, so it was really nice to have absolutely nothing on the agenda at all.
Last week was a rough week for Sheff in school – he got in trouble pretty much every day, so we told him if he ended the week on a good day, we could have a pizza party and rent Frozen 2. I’m happy to report he got a good report Thursday and Friday, so we ordered some Donato’s and got to watch Frozen 2 – which Sheff and I loved! (may or may not have watched it more than that one time this weekend).
Saturday we got up and headed to the Y – after that I did lunch and shopping with my sister. We came home and watched the AU basketball game (loss to UK, booooo), and then watched some TV before called it a semi-early night.
Sunday was pretty much spent outside. We did walks and bike rides and playgrounds – Sheff even tried out some of his gymnastics moves. Sunday night we did our first Sunday dinner- my sister came over and we had some beverages and did a creamy Cajun shrimp pasta dinner. It was delicious, and these dinner are now non-negotiable family time.
I hope you all had a great weekend and a good start to the week!
