On Friday, B met me downstairs again at Paramount for our Friday drink. Their happy hour special on Fridays is their Moscow mule, and it was so delicious. After our drink, we headed over to Holy Trinity Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church for the Greek festival. This time, Jenn and Brandon got to come with us. We ate gyros, pastichio, grilled chicken, loukamathes, and picked up an assorted mix of other pastries. We watched the dancers, had a bottle of wine, and had a great time.
Saturday, I woke up super early to go and get some baking essentials for our Halloween baking day! Jenn came over, and we baked cookies and cupcakes and decorated them all. We made the most morbid cupcakes you ever did see. Even Sheffield got in on the cookie decorating action – he loved the eyeballs and all the sprinkles. B went to Oktoberfest downtown, so when we all met back up at the house, we ordered some pizza and watched AU get stomped by Ole Miss.
Sunday was our super lazy laid back day. We painted some sun catchers ($3 at Hobby Lobby y’all!), and Jenn and Brandon came over again to watch the Packers. Lose. It was certainly not a good weekend for us football wise. BUT it was fun getting to spend so much time with Aunt Juney! Plus those cookies taste super delicious.
Hope y’all had a great weekend!
