So I mentioned in Sheffield’s seven month post that we are now experiencing pulling up, and that the kid never wants to be held and is always on the move.
And you know something ? THIS IS EXHAUSTING.
We are constantly having to keep an eye on him — long gone are the days where we could place him on his tummy time mat and just leave him there and not have to worry about him roaming off. Oh, no — he is all over the place. Put him in the living room? Nope, kid will crawl up the stair to the kitchen. Put him on the bedroom floor and close the door so he can’t get out? Nope – he’s learned that a simple push is all he needs to get free. Put him down in his bedroom with all of his toys? Not entertaining enough — and will crawl up the two steps to get out.
Just try putting him in his car seat or high chair — it’s like he thinks he’s going into baby jail and that he’ll never be free again.
