If you’ve known me for any sort of time, you know that I’m a GIANT fan of all things breakfast. I love eggs, and bacon, and sausage and pancakes and French toast and normal toast, and pretty much anything people eat for breakfast, SO – when I saw that this book was up for review, I was like, HELL YEAH, GIMME.
Being lucky enough to be in a city where a brick-and-mortar location of Big Bad Breakfast exists, I knew I had to get in on some of their recipes. It’s no surprise that I love this place since the author, John Currence from New Orleans, and he also believes in the power of a good breakfast.
The recipes range from homemade pop-tarts to a “healthy” egg bake – which is pretty much just throw everything you got into a bowl and bake it. Baked = healthy, right?
The recipes in this book are so easy to follow, and the author adds little quips and asides, and I love it. This is definitely a staple among our cookbooks, and I can’t wait to make everything! Breakfast everything, here I come!
I received this book from Blogging for Books for this review.
