I hate LiveWriter and will never ever attempt to use it again. Like ever. I had a blog post, but couldn’t get it to sync? And I refuse to use Picasa, because, well, I don’t like it. I’ll leave you with a picture of Thunder on the Mountain, and a promise to write more when I have calmed down! Hope everyone had a great holiday!

Weekend

Tomorrow is our two year anniversary. We were going to go and do a weekend trip to Nashville, but decided to stay up till 5 am with some friends Friday night, and well, spent all of yesterday in bed.

So trip canceled, obviously, but I can’t remember a day where we seriously didn’t get out of bed till like 6 p.m., and then that was only to get a sub from Publix for dinner, because seriously, no cooking on lazy day.

Red Rock in Vegas. My hair is so not blonde anymore, but I love this picture of the two of us (mainly because hubs almost fell of the rock before this same picture, right after his dad had done the same thing five minutes earlier).

Ugh, it was hot there.

Ugh, it’s hot here.

But now it’s 8:38am on a Sunday, and I refuse to waste this day too. A day filled with Target, Costco and laundry, and possibly testing out my new nail polish.

I heart OPI and their new Texas polishes. They are fabulous.

Weekend

Thank goodness for the weekend! This past week was a loooong one, and I’m so glad that it’s over. I only have about two more weeks before Las Vegas, and then off to see my dad that weekend. Can you believe it? Like a million flights in one week? I don’t know what I was thinking on that one.

But this weekend has been productive…. I repainted and re-hardwared an old dresser, made cookies, did laundry, finally bought some tips for my decorating bags (and decorating cupcake purposes!), and even took a shower.

Tomorrow will be relaxing in our pool (baby pool bought at Big Lots for $37. Don’t hate. It’s gonna be awesome), and drinking from our box of sangria (from Costco. Again, don’t hate. It says it’s from Spain. Really.).

So I will leave you with a picture (dresser makeover to follow on Monday!), just because a successful blog (not like this is) always has pictures.

I am so not a model, my hair needed re-highlighted at this point, and I found those purple mardi gras beads outside the hotel. It’s such a waste to let them go, because they oh-so-match my orange dress? I don’t know.
