Up and Vanished: Season 2 – Some people complain about Payne and his advertisers, but I can honestly block it out. This one focuses on a free-spirited girl named Kristal Reisinger who goes missing in the small town of Crestone, Colorado. No one can pinpoint exactly a date she went missing, but knew something was up when she lost contact with her daughter. This is the first podcast I’ve listened to where I’m actually having to wait for the next episode every Monday. LOVE IT.
Spirits – I’m behind the eight-ball on this one. It started back in 2016, and I’m making my way through all the episodes. They focus mainly on mythology and urban legends from around the world, while they make a delicious cocktail specially for the episode. I have always loved mythology, so I love the episodes on the Greek gods and goddesses, but am really loving learning about the ones from Norse, Irish, and Indian culture as well.
Dr. Death – About a spine surgery doctor who has been botching his surgeries with his patients, often leaving them in worse condition than when they showed up. This is the podcast B and I are listening to together, so it’s going at a snail’s pace, but we’re really enjoying it so far.
Unobscured – I also just started this one, and am loving it! This one focuses on the Salem Witch Trials, and I am obsessed with learning the history behind them, as it’s a topic I’ve never even really considered delving into. My most favorite part is the interviews with the historians.
St Paul and the Broken Bones – Half the City – If you haven’t heard of these guys, definitely hop on it. Local to the state of Alabama, they have a fun bluesy sound. There isn’t a song on this album that I don’t like.
Third Eye Blind – Summer Gods Tour Live 2017 – I might be the only person left on earth who is still obsessed with Stephen Jenkins, but dammit, I love him. I also love a good live album, and he sings all of the old favorites that make me miss high school days and driving with all the windows down and “Graduate” blasting through the stereo.
Post Malone – Stoney – For a little more hip-hop in your life, and a little more bouncing in your seat. This has become one of my favorite listens while I’m at work.
