// A Day in the Life of Marlon Bundo – Are you a Last Week Tonight with John Oliver fan? If so, then you already know all about this book. Oliver is basically trolling Mike Pence’s book about the Day in the Life of a VP from his bunny’s (Marlon Bundo) perspective. Pence isn’t exactly known as a friend to the gay community, so Oliver made Marlon Bundo a gay bunny who finds love with another boy bunny. 100% of the proceeds from the book go to The Trevor Project and AIDS United. It is already temporarily out of stock, but place on order to get in on the next batch. If you also have the opportunity please check this out for more ways to help AIDS United with donations.
// Atlanta Monster podcast – I have finally jumped on the Podcast bandwagon, and couldn’t get enough of this one. The final episode is supposed to come out today, and I cannot wait to listen to it. Back in the 80’s, more than 20 African American kids were abducted and killed. They put someone behind bars, but hardly anyone believes he was responsible for it. Payne Lindsey investigates to try to bring some closure to this over 40 year old mystery. (Payne Lindsey also did Up & Vanished, which I’m currently in the middle of, and also recommend).
// Visitacity.com – My sister rules at putting together itineraries. She did all of the trip planning for our Iceland/Denmark trip, and since I’m borderline irresponsible, she pretty much took control of planning our San Francisco trip, too. She uses this website! You can put in your destination, the landmarks and stuff you want to do (if the website doesn’t have it on their planning guide, you can add it!), the amount of time you are on vacation, and it will give you an itinerary – right down to the times and amount of time expected to spend at a destination. They have tons of US cities as well as cities abroad.
Have a great weekend – we are off to the March For Our Lives march in Railroad Park tomorrow – if you’re in the Birmingham area, come on down.
