what you need:
// 2 cups Bisquick mix
// 4 Tbsp butter
// 1 tsp parsley flakes
// 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
// 2/3 cup milk
// 8 pieces of cubed Cheddar cheese
for the glaze:
// 1/2 tsp garlic powder
// 2 Tbsp butter
// 1/2 tsp Old Bay seasoning
what you do
// Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees F.
// Mix Bisquick mix and 4 tbsp. of butter together with a fork.
// Once it’s crumbly, add in the milk, parsley and cheese and mix with fork until it becomes doughy.
// Grab enough dough to make about a 4″ ball – and press it flat. Place one of the cheddar cubes in the middle, and fold the dough around it, rolling it into a ball.
// Put the balls on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet. This mix should yield you about 8 biscuits.
// Bake them in the oven for about 17-19 minutes, or until just golden on top.
// Heat the butter, garlic powder and Old Bay over high heat until melted.
// Brush the mixture on top of the biscuits and enjoy!
These were so delicious and tasted like the real deal Red Lobster biscuits, and I had everything on hand but the Bisquick. Plus, Sheffield was so proud of himself for helping!
