I feel like all of us moms have been thrown for a loop the last couple of months – all the moms. I know, for one, working from home, and making my kids’ three meals a day, educating and just all around keeping him busy has been exhausting. PBS Kids runs rampant in this house (the kid loves Wild Kratts, and well, its educational, so watch away kid). Those daycare teachers (and the cooks!) need enormous raises. Anyway, I’ve rounded up a few fun gift ideas!
// This Uncommon James necklace has me all heart eye emoji. It’s not too over the top, and could be worn with anything from jeans to your LBD. I pretty much love everything this store has to offer, so can’t go wrong with anything really.
// With all the strength workouts from home lately, I’m finding myself needing heavier dumbbells. These 10s or 12’s from Target should do the trick!
// I am way past the days of wearing bikinis, and luckily, cute as a button one-pieces are in. I am in love with this one from Summersalt. Plus – it’s on sale right now! With as much as we’re outside during the summer, it’s definitely worth the investment!
// I don’t even know why someone would need an oyster shaped serving spoon, but it’s so cute. And what about all of those holidays hosted once quarantine is over? This would be so cute in a casserole dish.
// The past month working from home has called for all the candles. I learned a tip from Emily at Cupcakes and Cashmere to light a candle after work to separate your work space from your home space, and Great Bear Wax has the best – plus they’re local to Birmingham. My favorite of theirs is the peony, but I’ve got my eye on the campfire one as well.
// I’ve been meaning to buy a new wallet now for years. The current one I have is about ten years old, and has seen better days. This one is super cute, and doubles as a wristlet.
// We could all use a good Bloody Mary duing all of this, right? I love Bloody’s, not only because they taste delicious, but they are one of the more healthy alcoholic beverages you can have. Local Stone Hollow Farmstead is selling these delicious mixes, and I wouldn’t mind having any of them, especially the Scary mix! The spicier the better!
