This past weekend was one of those that went by super fast – and we just jam packed it, because the weather was beautiful.
We went down to Pepper Place Farmer’s Market. We enjoyed sausage biscuits from Monroe Sausage, and got another blueberry doughnut from the Heavenly Doughnut truck. That kid loves that doughnut, and he ate every bit of it. I finally got my hands on the Down in the Ham kids book, and y’all – I love it! It is so cute and full of fun Bham information!
After naps, B let me have a few hours to get some errands done – we spent the rest of the afternoon playing with toys and chilling in the basement.
We got up semi-early to make our way down to Oak Mountain State Park. We brought biscuits and sausage, and played in the lake. That little kid had so much fun! He absolutely loved being on the beach, and splashed and played in the water – and he even didn’t mind us not being right next to him. He played in the sand and the water all by himself – he’s growing up y’all!
After naps, we ate bomb pops and played in the pool and sprinkler all afternoon. After we were all sunned and watered out, we came inside for a movie and a snack.
The weather on Sunday was gorgeous, and we definitely plan on going back to Oak Mountain to go hiking and head back to the beach.
I hope y’all had a great weekend!
